The the call for submission of films for the Zimbabwe International Film Festival (ZIFF2015) is now CLOSED.
ZIFF2015 will run from 3 to 10 October under the theme ‘DOCUMATION’
The theme is a clarion call for Zimbabwean filmmakers to pay more attention to Documentary and Animation filmmaking. ZIFFT believes that these genres are important tor the purposes of capturing and archiving the essence of Zimbabwe’s heritage; past and present, and as a means for projecting our nation’s trajectory. It is expected that local filmmakers and audiences will also learn from international work submitted.
Although focusing on these two genres, the Festival will, as always, feature the broad range of film genres. This call is open to filmmakers in Zimbabwe and around the world to submit in the following categories:
- Feature Film
- Short Film
- Documentary Film (Features and Shorts)
- Animation (Features and Shorts)
